Kalabhavan Mani Passed Away

Famous Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani(aged 45) passed away at a private hospital on Sunday. The actor was declared dead at 7.15 pm. Later, his body has been shifted to the Government Medical College Thrissur.

He was undergoing treatment for liver related disease. According to the hospital source traces of Methanol(Methyl Alcohol) was found in Mani's body. As per the report from hospital Chalakudy police have filed a case for unnatural death.

Mani, who was once an auto driver, came to the film field through his mimicry skills and folk songs. He has acted in more than 200 films, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. As a playback singer, he sung songs for 25 films.

He won a special jury award at the National Film Awards and Kerala State Film Awards his performance in 'Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum'.
