Filmmaker Rajesh Pillai Passed Away
Malayalam film director Rajesh Pillai (41) passed away at 11.40 am Saturday at PVS hospital in Kochi. He was suffering from liver cirrhosis and had been undergoing treatment along with the shooting of his latest film. His latest film Vettah released yesterday, which is achieving good response.
The filmmaker was hospitalised several times during the shooting of the movie Vettah. During the final sound mixing works for the film, Rajesh got pneumonia and that worsened his health.
Hridayathil Sookshikkan, Traffic, Mili, Vettah are the movies directed by him. He had also directed Traffic in Hindi too.
