Ajith Will Do 'Bhaskar the Rascal' In Tamil

'Bhasker The Rascal', the Malayalam movie directed by Siddique, will be remaking in Tamil. Ajith will be doing the role of Bhasker which was done by Mammootty in Malayalam. Earlier it was reported that Rajinikanth will be doing the lead role in this film. Now it is confirmed that Ajith will be doing the role instead of Rajinikanth.

The movie will be directed by Siddique himself. Nayanthara, who was the heroine in the film, will do the female lead role in the Tamil too. Aarambam was the last movie in which Nayanthara and Ajith worked together. Kavalan was the last Tamil movie directed by Siddique which was the remake of his own Malayalam film 'Bodyguard'.
