3 Students Arrested Regarding 'Premam' Piracy

The Anti-Piracy Cell of Kerala Police arrested three Plus Two students, who allegedly uploaded the censor copy of the movie 'Premam' on Tuesday. The students are Kollam natives. Among the 3 two of them are under 18 years.

According to the police, the movie was uploaded on a Torrent website on June 22. The students told the police that the censor copy of the movie was given to them by the people from abroad. The USB drive used for transferring the pirated copy of the movie has been seized from the house of the 16-year-old student. The boys used a fake IP address to upload the movie on a Torrent site.

Police sources also say that the pirated copy of the film was leaked before May 19. As the foreign links are exposed, the police believe that there is a high-level conspiracy behind the piracy of this movie.
