Randamoozham will come in two films
MT Vasudevan Nair's masterpiece 'Randamoozham' will come to the silver screen as two films. This will be a big budget project which may have a production cost of 250 crores. Mohanlal, Amitabh Bachchan, Aiswarya Rai, Vikram, Nagarjuna are the main stars in this big budget project.
According to the reports, Mohanlal will be playing the role of Bheema, Amithabh Bachchan will be as Bheeshmar, Aiswarya Rai as Draupadi and Vikram as Arjuna. Nagarjuna will be playing a pivotal role which is not yet revealed. The film will be directed by Sreekumar, who is known as Push Sreekumar. He became famous through the ads for Kalyan Jewellers.
M.T started the scripting of the first sequel, which tells the childhood of Kauravas and Pandavas. The second sequel, which will be released after 45 days release of first part consist their youth times; which leads to Mahabharatha. The discussions of making the film in association with Warner Bros and Universal Pictures are going on.
For this big project the music will be done by A R Rahman. K.U Mohan will do the Cinematography and Sabu Cyril will do the Art direction. The action stunts will be done by the Chinese team who worked the film behind ‘Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon’.
