Mammootty will be the brand ambassador of ‘Clean Campus, Safe Campus ‘

Actor Mammootty will become the brand ambassador of the State Government project, ‘Clean Campus, Safe Campus’. 'Clean Campus, Safe Campus' is the project, launched by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy early this month. This project mainly aims at total eradication of substance abuse among students. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala yesterday told that the actor has agreed to campaign for the project free of cost. This project will be continuing for an year.

As a part of this project, anti-intoxicant pledge will be taken by students from class I to XII across the state.  Special  programmes will be held in all schools. Home Secretary Nivedita P Haran will be the head of a state-level committee which will oversee the project. Different committees on school level and district level headed by District Collectors will be formed. The program will also conduct contests based on the ‘Clean Campus, Safe Campus’ theme during School youth festivals.
