State Awards with never ending controversy

Controversy has started in the 44th Kerala State Awards from the starting itself. In the begining it was about the screening of the films, which  was done without the head of the jury. Now, the controversy is with the Best Singer Award. The Best Singer award was announced for Karthik for the song ‘Janmandharangal' from the movie Orissa. But in the movie the song was originally sung by Pradeep.

Both Karthik and Pradeep had sung the song, but Pradeep’s song was selected for the Movie. Hence the award should have been given to Pradeep. Instead, the jury selected the Karthik whose song has not included in the film.

Pradeep has sung his debut song in the Movie Beautiful.  He is working as Doctor in Jubilee Mission Hospital Thrissur.
