Amen - Best Foreign Feature Film at Canada International Film Festival
Malayalam Amen won the award for the Best Foreign Feature Film at Canada International Film Festival 2014. The 2014 Canada International Film Festival was held on March 28th, 29th of 2014 at Edgewater Casino in downtown Vancouver.
The Film was directed by Lijo Jose Pallisserry and Produced by Fareed Khan. The Movie in which Fahad Fazil, Indrajith and Swati Reddy played the lead roles, was written by PS Rafeeq. The movie released on 2013 March 22 and was a huge hit.
The movie is set in the backdrop of an imaginary village and a Syrian church, and it portrays the life of some people who lead their life over there. The story of the movie was blended with spirituality and romance.
