Films produced for satellite rates will be restricted

Nowadays, a lot of films have been produced aiming only on the satellite rates. It has been decided to restrict such movies. The decision has been announced in a joint meeting of Kerala Television Federation,  Film Producers Association, AMMA and FEFKA held at Kochi.

In meeting, they have also decided to arrange an 'Adaalat' for the films which don't have the telecast right. There are around 100 film which don't have the telecast rights. Hence, Kerala Television Federation,  Film Producers Association, AMMA and FEFKA had decided to arrange this joint meeting. It has been also decided to limit the chance for applying  satellite rights around 75 to 80 films. Thus, the Films produced only for satellite rates can be reduced.

Another main decision is to avoid the  brokers who are deciding the channel rates for the films. Thus Kerala Television Federation and Film Producers association will directly come to the scene. The meeting also decided to reduce the production cost for the movies and also to promote new producers.
