Simran will be acting in Drishyam's Tamil version

Simran will be acting as Kamalhassan's heroine in the Tamil version of the Malayalam movie Drishyam. She will be acting in the role of Kamalhassan's wife which has been acted by Meena in Malayalam. At first there were rumours that the role of heroine will be done by Meena itself. But now its confirmed as Simran will be doing the role.

Simran has been taken a break for a long time. She came with a guest role in the Tamil Movie Aaha Kalyanam which is also a remake of the bollywood movie Band Baaja Baaraat.

Jeethu Joseph will be directing the Tamil version of Drishyam.
