അതിവൈകാരികമായ നിമിഷങ്ങളുടെ പേമാരിയില്‍ കണ്ണുനനയിക്കുന്ന ഈ സിനിമ കുടുംബസദസ്സുകളെ തിയറ്ററിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തുമെന്നുറപ്പ്.

വൈകാരികതയുടെ അതിപ്രസരം പലപ്പോഴും പ്രേക്ഷകന് അരോചകത്വം സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കണ്ടിരിക്കാവുന്ന സിനിമയാണ്.

Varsham Is A Capturing Drama Which Coils Into A Ramrod Weepie

ട്രെയിലറില്‍ മഹാനടനം എന്ന് എഴുതുന്നതിലല്ല പടം കണ്ടിറങ്ങുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകനെക്കൊണ്ട് പറയിക്കുന്നതിലാകണം മിടുക്ക് കാണിക്കേണ്ടത്. നല്ല സിനിമയാകുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷ നല്‍കി ശരാശരി കണ്ണീര്‍ക്കഥയായി തീരുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് വര്‍ഷം. എങ്കിലും സൂപ്പര്‍താരജാഡകളില്ലാത്ത മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് കാണാവുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് വര്‍ഷം.

Ranjith Sankar, the man of family entertainers is back with yet another one; Varsham. It’s a simple tale of a couple who brings their life back on track from the brink of disaster.

‘Varsham’, Ranjith Shankar’s fifth film, is impressive and of course worth a watch or two...The film excels in almost all departments and it’s perhaps the subtle, scintillating performance by Mammootty that’s the highpoint of ‘Varsham’...

'Varsham' is a soothing shower of compassion and goodwill that is undoubtedly Ranjith Sankar's best work as yet. It is at once an outstanding tale of resilience and a tearfully inspirational chronicle of benevolence; an exquisite downpour that each one of us need to get blessedly drenched in.

ഒരു മിഴിനീര്‍കണമായ് വീണുടഞ്ഞു പോകുമായിരുന്ന ജീവിതത്തെ സാമൂഹ്യ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വങ്ങളുടെ നിശ്ചയദാര്‍ഢ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുകളില്‍ പുനര്‍നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്ന വേണുഗോപാല്‍ എന്ന വേണുവിന്റെയും അയാള്‍ക്ക് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള മനുഷ്യരുടെയും ജീവിതമാണ് വര്‍ഷം എന്ന സിനിമ .

Varsham is a very heart-touching tale with a very important message. The well executed film has a very relevant subject; that of today's rat-race and the distorted sense of priority that people, especially parents now a days have.

കണ്ടിരിക്കാന്‍ തോന്നിപ്പിക്കും വിധമാണ് വര്‍ഷം പെയ്തു തുടങ്ങിയത്. പിന്നീടത് കാഴ്ചയെ നിറച്ചും കണ്ണിനെ നനച്ചും തിമിര്‍ത്തു പെയ്തു. ദീര്‍ഘനേരം അനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ പെരുമഴ സമ്മാനിച്ചു കൊണ്ടാണ് വര്‍ഷം തിരശ്ശീല വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞത്.

Varsham is a rehashed version of those stereotyped movies from the past, but even then it has been presented well. Watch this one but don’t forget to carry a box of tissues to wipe your tears for sure!

Varsham carries the stamp of Ranjith Sankar which is enhanced by Mammootty's presence.

Basking in the radiance of a brilliant performance by Mammootty and a range of actors, the film stands out as an exceptional work by Ranjith Sankar.

On the whole ‘Varsham’ is a film that failed to live up-to the the level of expectation it has raised but not a disappointing affair from Renjith Shanker. It could have been better if a little bit more effort was taken to make the script and the emotional level was on a digestible mark.

Varsham for me was a good and pure film that touch you with its emotional content and the effort in spreading something good for the society even in a small way through this medium needs to be lauded.

ഒട്ടേറെ നന്മകളുള്ള, നിസ്സഹായമായ മനുഷ്യ ജീവിതത്തെ വരച്ചു കാണിക്കുന്ന, നല്ലൊരു കുടുംബ ചിത്രമാണ് “വർഷം”. മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കൂടെ ചേരുമ്പോൾ, കൂടുതൽ സുന്ദരമാകുന്ന “വർഷം” ഒരുപാട് മികച്ച ജീവിത സന്ദേശങ്ങളും പ്രേക്ഷകർക്ക്‌ പകർന്നു നൽകുന്നു. 

A tender and completely engrossing family drama.

Overall Varsham is a performance driven emotional story that does not have any twist or turns. The characters and events have so much of life that it will give us that required positive feel. 

'Varsham' is akin to an impending rain, that never pours!

Varsham may not be a great film or a masterpiece. But it has its heart in the right place and a brilliant Mammootty which makes up for an easy watch.

A must see for all those who love good cinema.

Varsham is a family entertainer; saying a real story with the help of some characters created through the script. The film is so simple that, it matches real incidents.
