ഇതൊക്കെ കാണാന്‍ വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ട പാവം പ്രേക്ഷകന്റെ വിധിയോര്‍ത്തു തലയില്‍ കൈവച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പറയട്ടെ, ഇമ്മാതിരി സിനിമകള്‍ക്കു മുടക്കുന്ന കാശുകൊടുത്ത് നല്ല ബിരിയാണി വാങ്ങിത്തിന്നു, വയറെങ്കിലും നിറയട്ടെ.

Unfortunately it is just a mix match of few past light humour films that Malayali's have seen many times. Nishad Koya's script fails to input that attraction of freshness and on verdict point, it is just a one time watch.....

Kunchacko Boban plays Poly in M Padmkumar's 'Polytechnic' which aspires to be rollicking entertainer set on a politically charged milieu, but ends up nothing of the sort. Riddled with done to death scenarios, 'Polytechnic' might be considered as a nontoxic film that neither excites you with its brightness nor nauseates you with offensiveness of any sort.

Poly Technic belongs to that genre of harmless comedies, which is funny in parts and that is all about it. All that it succeeds in is to bring back the memories of some of those gems from the past.

The story doesn’t have any twists or suspense. It is a straight forward movie replete with humour. Humour has been handled well throughout.  Polytechnic is a family entertainer. A one time watch with your family and a laugh treat for this Vishu.

Despite the commentary that ‘Polytechnic’ seeks to make on existing socio-political situations, the film, directed by M Padmakumar, is in total unimpressive.

There is nothing new in Polytechnic and it is the effort the actors put in that helps the film from sinking totally, says Paresh C Palicha.

M Padmakumar directorial Polytechnic, with Kunchacko Boban and Bhavana in the lead is a watchable entertainer for family audience even though we have come across the same storyline many a times.

A strict No-No is what I can confidently say about Poly's technique. Some directors should seriously ask themselves what they really want to do!

On the whole Polytechnic is a complete family entertainer which will be equally enjoyable by all kind of audience.

Polytechnic was just a watchable film for me. With other iconic films already made with the same theme, I don’t think you are going to remember it for a while. The rating is 2.5/5. It’s not unbearable, but a forgettable one time watch.
