Even-though its slow-paced narration and ironical templates is not enough ingredients for a box-office success,Munnariyipp is one gem for this industry which is a highly sensible piece of art and will be a appealing choice for movie buffs.

ഒരു റിയലിസ്റ്റിക് ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ എല്ലാ രൂപഭാവങ്ങളും ആര്‍ജ്ജിച്ച്‌ വാണിജ്യ സിനിമയുടെ വഴിയില്‍ നിന്ന് വേറിട്ടൊരു സഞ്ചാരം നടത്തുകയാണ് മമ്മൂട്ടി കേന്ദ്ര കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന "മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്" എന്ന ചിത്രം.അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ തികഞ്ഞ ഒരു മമ്മൂട്ടി ആരാധകന് ചിത്രം ചിലപ്പോള്‍ നിരാശ സമ്മാനിച്ചു എന്നിരിക്കും. എന്നാല്‍ ഗൌരവമായി സിനിമയെ സമീപിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ചിത്രം ഒരു സൈക്കോ ത്രില്ലറിന്‍റെ ആസ്വാദ്യത പകരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Overall, Munnariyippu will stay in your head for a long time if you have the calmness in mind to analyze the film. My rating is 4/5 and thumbs up for this story of a common man who found freedom in prison.
