Synopsis:

Loham narrates the story of Raju (Mohanlal) a taxi driver and Jayanti (Andrea Jeremiah). Jayanti has come from Mumbai with a special purpose and hires Raju's taxi for the ride. The people they come across and the incidents that happen in between their one day long journey is the plot of Loham.

മോഹൻലാൽ എന്ന നടൻ്റെ മികച്ച മീശപിരി കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ മലയാളി പ്രേക്ഷകർക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ച രഞ്ജിത്തിൻ്റെ സൃഷ്ട്ടിയായതിന്നാൽതന്നെ വാനോളം പ്രതീക്ഷയുമായാണ് പ്രേക്ഷകരോരുത്തരും ഈ ചിത്രത്തെ സമീപിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ആദ്യ പകുതിയിലെ തിളക്കം ചിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ കഥാഘടനയിലെ ആഴങ്ങളിൽ ദർശിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തതിനാൽ കല്ലിൽ ഉരച്ചു നോക്കാതെതന്നെ പ്രേക്ഷകന് തിരിച്ചറിയാൻ സാധിക്കും ഈ ലോഹം വെറും മഞ്ഞ നിറം പൂശിയ ചെമ്പാണെന്.
