This sincere, different effort from Amal Neerad is a decent one time watch, especially considering the emphatic camera work which will leave you breathless at times.

As Ashiq Abu said, Iyobinte Pusthakam is an Amal Neerad book of filmmaking with certain amount of flaws in scripting. On a time when certain film makers do cheap stuff and claims about using high end technologies in it, Iyobinte Pusthakam becomes an eye opener which tells us that we can make great films within our limited canvas.

അമൽ നീരദ് എന്ന സംവിധായകന്‍റെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സിനിമയാണ് “ഇയ്യോബിന്‍റെ പുസ്തകം”. വ്യക്തമായ തിരക്കഥയും, അതിലും വ്യക്തമായ കണ്‍സീവിങ്ങും സമ്മേളിച്ചതിലൂടെ, പ്രേക്ഷകർക്ക്‌ ലഭിച്ച നല്ലൊരു ദൃശ്യവിരുന്നായ ഈ ചിത്രം നിങ്ങളേവരെയും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തും എന്ന് 100% ഉറപ്പ്. ഇത്രയും മികച്ച രീതിയിൽ ഛായാഗ്രഹണം നിർവ്വഹിക്കപ്പെട്ട വേറെയൊരു സിനിമയും അടുത്ത കാലത്തെങ്ങും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.

Hats off to Amal for his brilliant direction which take the audience to a the world where the story is happening and made them feel that they are a part of the story too.

 Iyobinte Pusthakam is decent watch if you can swallow this small hiccups, and is one of the best works of Amal on comparison. If at all the writing was sharp in the later part as earlier, this one had enough ingredients to call as a classic.

Watch it for the extra-ordinary visual treat.

Iyobinte Pusthakam stands as a good thriller, with all elements added in a better way, which entertains the audience for the entire time of running.
