Even though we feel that it is dragging in the first half, with its brilliant packaging and execution we can easily say that Drishyam is a well made thriller replete with fine performances.

Finally Drishyam has a clever and strong story, which perfect crafted , brilliantly shot, breath takingly acted to get us a never before cinematic experience. 

ഒരു മികച്ച തിരക്കഥകൃത്തിന്റെ ചിത്രമാണ് ‘ദൃശ്യം’. അത് ഭംഗിയായി പകര്‍ത്താനുള്ള സംവിധാന മികവും അഭിനയിക്കാന്‍ അസാമാന്യപ്രതിഭകളും കൂടിയായപ്പോള്‍ അടുത്തിടെ വന്ന മികച്ച കുടുംബ ത്രില്ലറായി ചിത്രം മാറുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും കുടുംബത്തോടെ കണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ട ചിത്രം.

The thrills of the second half is definitely a strong point in the success of Drishyam, but for me it was the pleasure of seeing a Mohanlal who played the role of that intelligent middle class man with at most perfection. 

Very rarely you will get to see a thriller of such sheer brilliance. A must watch!

‘Drishyam’ offers an impeccable experience by presenting a unique theme in a unique way. 

This time for a change I will give the verdict upfront and keep the BS for later. ‘Drishyam’ is my movie of the year across whatever I have seen in the few languages 

Jeethu Joseph’s cat-and-mouse thriller, comprising elements that aren’t exactly fresh, underscores the necessity of street smartness and alternate sources of information, for survival. And sprinkles glitter on the megastar.

Drishyam is an elegantly crafted piece of film which Lal and Joseph can proudly hold close to their hearts.

In the final analysis , this 'Drishyam' is undoubtedly cladded with exceptional story telling combined with bravura performances. The director Jeethu Joseph is receiving a standing ovation for his fine execution of a well written material from a very simple plot. An undoubtedly exceptional film as far the content is concerned, the movie is a must watch for all the audiences of family and thriller movies.

 Jeethu Joseph has really taken a giant stride forward in his directorial career. He is the man in command here and aided by a well compiled script written by himself he has made ' Drishyam' a pleasing experience. Visuals can be deceiving but this deception is a pleasant one.

In 'Drishyam' Jeethu attempts a stunning mix of the real with the imaginary, and the result is an unpredictable cinematic artichoke that takes you by surprise at every turn.
