ഒരു വാചകത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ വേറിട്ട ഒരു സിനിമാറ്റിക് അനുഭവം. ഫോര്‍മുലകളുടെ, സിനിമാചിട്ടവട്ടങ്ങളുടെ ചട്ടക്കൂടില്‍ നില്‍ക്കാത്ത, റിയലിസത്തിന്റേയും ഫാന്റസിയുടേയും മധ്യേ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന വണ്‍ ബൈ ടൂ ശക്തമായ, വേറിട്ട പരീക്ഷണമാണ്.

‘One By Two’ as it proclaimed by the makers, is a multi faceted, multi colored champagne that filled an invigorating spirit in the nerves of viewers. The matter is that how far does it sustained the particular spirit and the seemingly intertwined plot. 

ഒരാളെ രണ്ടായി കാണുന്നത് തന്നെ ഇണ്ടലിനു കാരണമാവുമ്പോള്‍, പല വ്യക്തിത്വങ്ങള്‍ മാറിമാറിയെത്തുന്ന ഒരുവനില്‍ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റി കഥ മെനഞ്ഞാല്‍ കാണികള്‍ എത്രത്തോളം വട്ടാവുമെന്ന് പറയേണ്ടതില്ലല്ലോ? അത്തരമൊരിണ്ടലാണു 'വണ്‍ ബൈ ടു'വിലൂടെ സംവിധായകന്‍ സാക്ഷാത്കരിക്കുന്നത്.

The first half, everything was there to convince that "1 By Two" Malayalam movie is a perfect thriller, but when it comes to second half, narration seems to have slipped out of hand.

Though the film has brought out some interesting or unknown facts that happens in our world, it is still lacking in some places which has spoiled the entire storyline.

A promising start, a rather engaging first half though not much happens till half time and then a totally disordered, jumbled-up and unimpressive second half

Arun Kumar Aravind's 'One by Two' is a bold attempt on a psychological thriller  which but fails to meet the expectations.

Arun kumar's One By Two is a daring psychological thriller, that may test the patience of conventional mass masala lovers, but please film lovers seeking freshness!

I wouldn't really blame the viewer for feeling stranded while watching Arun Kumar Aravind's '1 by Two'. What starts off as a psychological thriller with immense potential winds itself up in loops and loops of complexities until it becomes almost impossible to untangle itself from the knots that threaten to strangle the very last bit of thrill out of it.

ചിരിക്കാന്‍ വകയില്ല, തമാശയ്ക്ക് ഇതില്‍ ഇടമേയില്ല. ഗൗരവമാണ് അടിസ്ഥാനശില. സങ്കീര്‍ണതയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ രൂപം. അതിനാല്‍ തന്നെ ക്ഷമയ്ക്കാണ് ഇവിടെ പ്രധാന്യം. അരുണ്‍ കുമാര്‍ അരവിന്ദിന്റെ പുതിയ ചിത്രമായ 'വണ്‍ ബൈ ടു' എന്ന സിനിമ കാണുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് ഈ മുന്‍വിധി നല്ലതാണ്.

1 by Two is a let down considering the expectations it had raised before its release.

In short, 1 By Two, is a one time watchable thriller with some good performances from the actors. Watch the movie to see the new face of Fahad Fazil!

‘One By Two’ is equally engaging as well as insipid in a sense that it failed to camouflage the intriguing elements before it could hit a chord with audience.

1 by Two is a skewed psychological thriller that tests your ‘mental balance’ and turns out to be a horrible misadventure. Try this one at your own risk!!

To sum up, 1 By Two can be tagged as a film that begins brilliantly and goes overboard for want of artistic finish.

One by two comes across as a foiled attempt, the characters either appearing too complex or too shallow, never being able to fix themselves to the core.

Even after thinking again and again about the storyline, I couldn’t figure out an answer for some whys and hows that got created in my mind. The rating is 2.5/5 for 1 By Two. I liked that climax dialogue which talks about living in the virtual world if reality can’t give you the happiness.
 

Watch it , for it is a Arun Kumar Aravind movie, a psychological thriller showcasing the experimental face of a bold new Malayalam film industry
